Jason Davis, Owner/Operator

Jason Davis opened North River Farms in 1999 with little more than a lifetime knowledge of farming, a sense of community, and a dream. His goal...to provide the highest quality hay and produce to the people of Western North Carolina... and that’s exactly what North River Farms has done for the last 20 years.

When Jason isn’t running North River Farms, he’s working to improve the community of Mills River. He is a board member of Farm Bureau, the Southern States, and Agribusiness of Henderson County. He currently sits on the County Extension Advisory Board and the Town of Mills River Agriculture Advisory Board.  He also serves as the Chief for the North Transylvania Fire Department and a board member and Assistant Chief for Mills River Fire Rescue. 

Jason Davis lives in Mills River with his wife, Chae, and their three sons. The boys love helping their dad on the farm and learning everything there is to know about the agriculture of Western North Carolina.
